Formed Together as One Body

Modern life has trained us to think of ourselves as self-contained units. We are taught to discover our purpose privately, pursue growth independently, and measure success individually. Yet Scripture tells a different story. God does not redeem isolated souls and then ask them to cooperate. He forms a body. From the very beginning, belonging is not the reward of maturity but the context in which maturity grows.
To be formed together as one body is to discover that individual purpose is revealed through shared life. Gifts are given not for personal distinction but for mutual upbuilding. When the church embraces this truth, faith becomes sturdier, hope become tangible, and love becomes practiced rather than merely proclaimed.
