Sent in Love

The Christian life does not end in inward formation. It moves outward in love. Yet the church has often spoken of mission in ways that feel heavy, urgent, or guilt driven. Scripture offers a better vision. We are not sent because the world is merely needy, but because Christ is alive and still sending His people as the Father sent Him.

To be sent in love is not to be driven by anxiety or obligation. It is to be drawn outward by grace. When a church understands this, mission becomes less about recruitment and more about faithful presence. Love becomes credible when it is embodied by a people who know where their life comes from and where they are being sent.
