Memory is one of God's great gifts to His people. We are not called merely to survive the passing of years, but to interpret them rightly. The believer looks backward not in nostalgia, but in gratitude. To remember the way is to trace the footprints of grace across the wilderness of time.

This opening sermon invites the church to reflect on the faithfulness of God through the years. Before we speak of tomorrow, we must first honor yesterday. The God who led before is the God who leads still.
